INSTRUCTIONS

For our exercises, we were to use basic 3D shapes to deconstruct the form of the vehicles (land, air and sea).

FEEDBACKS

Week 3: When doing your extractions, write down legends - what shape did you use, how are those shapes manipulated. Pay attention to the little details such as the buttons which have a little bulge in their form - draw their contour lines. Identify vanishing points to help build your vehicles later on.

REFLECTION

Using 3D shapes to deconstruct vehicles was not very enjoyable because it felt mechanical. Often it was also confusing, especially for the sea and air vehicles due to their abstract form. From these exercises, I decided that I wanted to work on something organic for my project, so I won't be bored of boxy forms.
